It's been a long time since we've spoken, but your name keeps coming up in conversations around my house, especially around this time of year. The conversations always center around you, your troupe, your music and your spirit.
... Your Music, First, you were note-perfect. It was almost spooky, but every once in a while you run across performers who communicate so well with each other that they blend their intuition and technical accuracy in a wonderful mix. You were there. Even more impressive was your ability to put your finder on the pulse of the room, take its temperature, and move it in the direction of your pleasure. I watched and listened to you, and was astounded that you could move the room so elegantly and, seemingly, so effortlessly. Your music grabbed even the most determined Chair-sitters and dragged them onto the dance floor. Five hours later, not a soul had left. For that, you deserve all of the credit.
